Random Pics

A ton of pictures of my two beautiful kids ranging from April to June! They are both growing so fast and have more energy than I can handle!!!!
At the park! Kennedy loves to eat sand and anything else she can fit in her mouth!
Playing in the front yard!
Benjamin wearing his dad's hard hat.
Kennedy crawling. She is unstoppable!
My baby girl.
Hanging out together on Ben's bed.
Sharing a snack together.
Check out this photogenic baby!
Ben with his dog. Lately, Benjamin likes to put the leash on the dog and make her follow him around the house.
Happy girl!
Kennedy loves playing outside, just like Ben.
Kennedy eating.
Happy Father's Day! These three are my whole world. And check out how slim Corey is looking. He is down over 60 pounds! Woot woot!

Me with Kennedy!
Kennedy playing with daddy!

Took the kids to an indoor playground to beat the heat. Ben loved this magnetic/block toy.
Kennedy loved all the crawl spaces.
Ben checking out all the trains.
Another way to beat the heat is to turn on a sprinkler!
Ben showing me a rock!

This girl crawls over and under everything!
And yet another way to escape the heat! We went to Baskin and Robbins for the $1 kids' cones.

Easter

Easter this year was very low key. I didn't even coo a special Easter dinner since Corey and I are both on special diets. Ben did an Easter egg hunt on saturday in the backyard and on Sunday morning they got their Easter baskets.
 Benjamin found an egg!
Ben's favorite item in his basket was definitely the bubbles!

And Kennedy got some yummy snacks, socks, ans sunblock!
(sorry, pic out of order) Benjamin checking out what is inside his egg.

It is so hard to get a picture of the two of them together, both looking at the camera, smiling. After many attempts, this was the best I could get!
 Kennedy with me!

Feb and March

February and March of this year were pretty calm for us, nothing too crazy happened. Here are some cute pics of Ben and Kennedy!
Kennedy fell asleep on the way to church! She was so sleepy, she didn't even wake up when I undid her straps to take her out.
Here is Ben enjoying the swings at the school by grandma's house.
Kennedy is rolling around at Grandma's
Ben playing with one of his trucks with a winter hat on. He loves trains and trucks!
Ben enjoying his first ice cream sandwich from an ice cream truck!

January 2013

Nothing too exciting for us in January. We started off the new year with some of the coldest temperatures we have seen while living in Arizona, followed by the kids getting sick and then Corey and I getting sick. Hopefully February brings some warmer weather and less sickness. Still got some cute pics though!
We put a couple swings up in the backyard for the kids as part of their Christmas gift. Ben loves them and I think Kennedy needs to get a little older before she will enjoy it!
Kennedy with Abby. Of our two dogs, I think Abby is her favorite because her hair is soft and long enough to grab. Abby likes her too and likes to give her a lot of kisses.
This pic was in the beginning of January, when she could almost sit on her own. Now, she can sit for a while without any support!
One of our cold days! She is all bundled up to play! A bib is a must, since she is such a drooller!
Ben all ready to go on the swing, despite the cold weather.
Kennedy playing on her tummy!
January brought a several day phase of Ben wanting to take his naps on the floor in his room. He is so adorable! Luckily, he is now back to sleeping in his bed.
Kennedy with her daddy!

Not to get into the toy gun debate, but here is my opinion: even if you don't give them a toy gun, they find things to use as toy guns-such as the handle to my vacuum.
Benjamin with the dogs! They are his pals. He can call them with his own version of a "whistle" and tells them to sit or lay down. If we let him, I think he would have them sleep in his room. PS, he insisted on going in the kennel and having the dogs join him-I do not use this for time out, usually. Hahaha!

Corey's bday/Christmas 2012

December was a fun month! We had a lot going on! Take a peek at our pics.
Here is Ben holding Kennedy. It is amazing how big she is getting, and Ben is really starting to interact with her. It is so fun to see them together!
This year Ben was old enough to help decorate the Christmas tree. He is sporting a nice mo-hawk, thanks to Corey. That haircut only lasted a couple days before we buzzed it off.
Here is Corey and our sweet baby girl!
Ben helping me make Christmas cookies.

Kennedy sitting up nice and tall in her high chair. She is just so cute, I can't get enough of her!
Benjamin looking cool with his winter hat and no socks or shoes. Good thing our winters are mild!
Benjamin, Kennedy, and I went to the Phoenix Children's Museum. It was a lot of fun for Ben and Kennedy had a lot to look at. It wore me out!
Another pic from the museum. This was one of Ben's favorite parts-he got to pretend to grocery shop just like mom.
Corey had his birthday when the world was supposed to end, luckily it didn't! Ben helped blow out the candles!
Me, mom, Lauren and Ben making Christmas cookies.
Corey and Ben helping decorate the cookies!
Kennedy with her Great Grandma Nat.
Lauren and Kennedy with Kennedy's stocking on Christmas morning!

Corey and I helping Ben with his stocking. Both our kids have hand knitted stockings made by their great grandma!

After we got home from Christmas at my parents and Corey's mom, we had a nice big Christmas package waiting from Corey's dad. Ben got this really sweet play set of Thomas the Tank Engine. He loves it!

My two little ones! They get bigger everyday!
