A one month old and a two year old!

I can't believe it has been a month already since Kennedy was born. She is doing really well. At her one month check up she weighed 10pounds 12 ounces. She is a good baby most of the time. We are still working on establishing good eating/nap times. On a good night she wakes up around 3am and eats and goes right back to sleep. Other nights she likes to be awake for a while. During the day she is a happy baby. So far, no reflux like Benjamin. I think she looks a lot like Ben when he was a baby. Same face, just different coloring since she is a lot darker than him.
Benjamin turned 2 last Saturday. Corey had to work most of the day, so we made the best of it we could. Ben helped me frost and decorate his cupcakes. I made a cupcake train, since he likes playing with trains so much. We celebrated when Corey got back from work. Also, he got a play pop up tent. So far, he enjoys playing in it. I can't believe he is 2 years old! He seems so huge now, compared to Kennedy. He is definitely not a baby anymore. The same week we brought Kennedy home from the hospital, he learned how to climb out of his crib. So, he is now in a twin bed. We are still working on getting him to stay in bed at night. Sometimes he goes right down. Other nights, it takes a couple tries before he settles in for the night. The toughest thing is that he wakes up really early now. while in the crib, I wouldn't hear him until 7 or 7:30. Now he is up and in my room by 6:00, sometimes 5:45am.
Benjamin has adjusted really well for the most part. Sometimes I think he is a little jealous and misses having me all to himself, but I try to make sure we do quality one on one time while Kennedy is down for naps during the day. He tries to be helpful sometimes, which is really cute. For example, when I am feeding Kennedy, he will sometimes go all the way downstairs and bring back up my big hospital cup for me.
I am doing alright. Right now what I am missing the most is sleeping and "me time." Between night time feedings and Benjamin getting up early, I am pretty tired. And with  a new baby you have to adjust to no longer having your nights free to do whatever. Taking care of the two during the day has its challenges, but we are starting to get a good routine down. Corey is a huge  help on the weekends with Benjamin, which works out great because Ben loves his dad.

Here is Ben giving Kennedy her passifier. This was the first time he got close enough to her for me to take a picture of the two of them together. Benjamin's opinion of her changes frequently. Sometimes he ignores her or finds her interesting. Every once in a while he will try to pick her up! He has yet to hold her.
Here is Kennedy nice and awake.
